In the middle of the nothingness

I want to vistit the North of Chile, especially San Pedro de Atacama. I want to experience the colors of the desert an the clean sky, but what i most interested in is this little town, San Pedro de Atacama. As far as i know it is a small village, with adobe huts surrounded by amazing places.  I know you can use the bike to go to visit many of the atractions.

How I knew about it...

The first time I heard about this place, was when I was  a little child. My mom and sisters used to talk a lot about a trip they made before I was born, to the north of our country. They excited referred to the different colors of the mountains. Also, they remember marvelled the starry nights in the extremely clean sky.

What I want to do there...

1.- First, I want to visit the wideley famous Valle de la Luna: It is a wonderful place with colorful geology. I want to spend the night there looking at the stars.



2.-  I´m quite interested in visiting this geothermal field. I have only seen somthing like this in The Oso Yogui cartoon (Another mom´s suggestion 😝😂). Could you imagine water comming from the earth in front of your nose.


3.- Pukará de Quitor: I would like to know something about the pre-Inca architecture. The only thing I know is that it was build before the conquest period.


4.- Go to Laguns: I have heard that the most beautiful sunset in the world is in Tebinquiche. People say that it´s a kind of mirror that reflects many beautiful colors. Also I want to see those amazing flying creatures, the flamingos.



Finally, I can´t miss San Pedro night life. I'm sure I can meet people from all over the world, it may be an excellent opportunity to practice my english and make friends for future travels  An of course....observe all the stars.

Since I was a little child I have imagined my future life as an artist. I took dance classes since I was 3 years old. I explored drama.  I attended an artistic school to find out my artistic preferences. I studied piano for about 3 years. But, at some point in my life I decided to be a dancer and since then I have been working hard to get my goal. When I was a high school student I combined my regular studies with ballet classes. Then I explored different styles and techniques so as to have a wider approach. I always have had family support although it has been common listening people saying that "as an artist you are going to starve to death". I am quite clear about that. I am ver conscious that it´s not going to be easy and I know that there are some paralel jobs related to dance, I can be a teacher, a yoga instructor, a coreographer, or even a researcher, but my most dear dream  it´s to be a contemporary dance performer. Just a Centeniall

As far as I am aware, I have been always using technologycal devices. I remembered that I always had access to a PC. My favorite pastimes were playing computer games. For instance, instead of having a doll house, I enjoyed my Sims family buildings😝 I also used to play ordering food by a phone call instead of preparing it in toy pots. I was very happy when at the age of six I recibed my first camera, I enjoyed taking pictures and recording videos in all events. I had hundreds of files since then. Referring to school, technology always has been present too, I learned, even my first words, through spanish software called Abracadabra. And as I used to watch much more TV it was frecuent to use words such as: "emparedado", "retrete", or "biberón" with a curious accent. Rarely I used paper for my school task, nor copybooks or craft paper presentations, I took notes using my phone and I made PPT presentations. It´s very useful to keep organized files rather than ...

Chiloé, an unforgettable trip

 It was a mother and daughter trip. We got on a bus in Santiago at night and we arrived to Castro the next day. The bus crossed the Chacao canal on a ferry. Of course we went outside the bus to feel the cold wind and look at the not so Pacific Ocean, it was unavoidable to feel a little bit afraid with the movement of the ship. We arrived to Castro at noon. Perfect to find a good place to have lunch. After walking a lot, without any sense of direction 😅 we found a restaurant in a palafito, the typical Chiloe building. After that we took a taxi to Chonchi a very beautiful town in the archipielago. We spent the night in a very comfortable hostel. The next morning we walked around visiting all the attractions there. . Our next destination was the most beautiful place on Earth, Cucao. We went there in a rural bus.
